I am a highly motivated and competent astronomy and space science graduate passionate about advancing the growing space industry in Kenya and Africa through engaging in opportunities that build the human capacity needed to propel the industry. With 4 years experience in start-up astronomy work and a track record of engagement in astronomy programs such as outreach and
research has helped me gain insights of what the space industry needs. I am the current head of operations at the Amateur Astronomical Society of Kenya where we have a passion for sharing astronomy with people of all ages while using it as a powerful tool to inspire curiosity, promote creativity and innovation, foster a sense of environmentalism and global citizenship as well as boost enthusiasm for STEM in general.
My research interests are in radio astronomy, Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) as well as star forming Galactic regions (SFGs) and the star formation processes.
